Meet Our Team:
WOMEN'S VITA IS A MEDICAL CLINIC IN NANAIMO, BC
We offer a variety of services to women and their families. We believe in empowerment, education and guidance to achieve your full health potential. We are passionate about women’s health and provide a safe and comfortable environment to discuss any health matters.
Welcome to my practice! I achieved my Medical Degree in Havana, Cuba in 2000. After, my Husband and I immigrated to Canada to begin our life here together. In 2004, I became Licensed to Practice Medicine in Rural Manitoba. Over the next 12 years I provided both Primary and Hospital Care to my patients as a Family Doctor in the Town of Morden, MB. During this time, my Husband and I had our two daughters; Cosette and Camille.
My family and I moved to Nanaimo, BC in late 2016. We enjoy being close to the ocean and surrounded by the natural beauty offered by the Island.
I am passionate about Women’s Health and enjoy the variety of practice that being a family doctor can offer. I especially love seeing my patients throughout their journeys, providing care through Primary and Preventative Medicine, overseeing Hospital Care in the ER, Labour and Delivery or as Inpatients. It is a unique opportunity to build special bonds with my patients, including their families, in times of need and to provide support in times of struggle or despair.
While I know I cannot fix everything, I feel privileged to be a part of your life journey through your health.
I am excited to create my practice of family medicine focused on Women’s Health. I am excited to build off some of the same ideas from my practice in Manitoba and to integrate them into the Women's Vita Medical Clinic on Vancouver Island.
As women, we have come a long way, not only socially but medically; there is still lots to do. I want to be a part of this as a physician and as a woman. This is my dream journey, thank you very much for allowing me to be a part of your lives.
DR. ANA ARMAS ENRIQUEZ, MD, CCFP
KASSIDY DELCARO II NURSE
I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where I graduated from Nursing in 2014 from NorQuest College. Since then, I have worked for a variety of extraordinary female physicians specifically in Women’s Health. I moved to Nanaimo to get away from the busy city life (and the cold) in 2017 with my husband.
I am excited about this opportunity working alongside Dr. Armas Enriquez to encourage and empower women and to create a comfortable and professional space for her patients to discuss their health issues and goals.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
I was born in a little town in Havana, Cuba and was raised by my grandparents on a farm. Even though I would describe myself as a ‘simple farm girl who loves nature and beautiful sceneries’, I always wanted to be a professional woman who can help people and contribute to society. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Artemisa in Cuba with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication. Since my graduation, I spent two years working as a Specialist Assistant in the Communication Department in a Tax Government Office. After that, I got married and moved to Nanaimo, BC with my husband.
Once I arrived in Canada, I realized I wanted to develop my skills and experience to work in the medical field. I returned to University and started courses on medical terminology and anatomy and physiology as the first step to my future goal which is to become an Medical Office Administrator.
